Kia ora, I am Kenny
I am a leadership development specialist who understands how business, leadership, culture, and the right talent can work in sync to create an environment where people can thrive and achieve success.
I am also an IECL accredited Executive Leadership Coach, ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and an experienced trainer and facilitator. My knowledge and leadership experience are grounded in a Master of Science specializing in Change Leadership and an Executive MBA specializing in Organizational Leadership Development.
I served 18 years in the New Zealand Defence Force as a people leader, holding various operational and strategic leadership roles, including maritime missions onboard Warships, multinational deployments in the Middle East, disaster response, government inter-agency operations, and leading strategic people and culture change initiatives. One of my most rewarding roles was my appointment as Head of the Leadership Training School for the NZ Navy.
Since 2019, as a leadership and Executive Coach, I have worked with senior leaders in diverse industries, such as finance, real estate, law, tech, construction, recruitment, start-ups, multinationals, and more, including public sector organizations like health and police. I also serve as a coach/mentor with the Institute for Strategic Leadership, Coach Hub International, and Business Mentors New Zealand.
I specialise in coaching current and emerging executive leaders for success in strategic and C-suite roles, where my pragmatic and outcome-oriented approach helps leaders achieve the results they want through coaching, support, and accountability.
