Kia ora, I am Kenny
I am a leadership development specialist who knows how to develop leaders, teams, cultures, and organisations to create thriving environments and successful businesses. I am an IECL accredited Executive Leadership Coach, an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and an experienced trainer and facilitator. My experience is backed by a Master of Science in Change Leadership and an Executive MBA in Organizational Leadership Development.
As a leader, I served 18 years in the New Zealand Defence Force, holding various operational and strategic leadership roles, including maritime missions, multinational deployments, disaster response, government and inter-agency operations, and leading strategic people and culture change initiatives. One of my most rewarding roles was Head of the Leadership Training School for the Royal NZ Navy.
In 2020, I founded The Bridge to help businesses and leaders bridge the gap between leadership philosophies and real-life skills. Since then, I have coached senior leaders in diverse industries, including finance, real estate, law, tech, construction, recruitment, start-ups, multinationals, and public sector organisations like Health and Police.
I specialise in coaching current and emerging executive leaders for success in strategic and C-suite roles, using a pragmatic and outcome-oriented approach. My mission is simple: empower leaders to make a positive difference to the people, businesses, and communities they lead.
